The Cashew Fruit looks like a pear, but when you open it, its flesh is red like a passion fruit. In the center behind the fruit is the sweet nut. (The real Cashew Fruit is featured on the hand painted labels of Artisana Organic Raw Cashew Butter.) The nut is extracted from the fruit with a cutting and peeling machine and then dried in the sun. What results is a tasty nut that is naturally alive. When the Cashews are blended with the Macadamias, the result is a creamy, naturally-sweet nut butter you can't resist!

I love nuts and hadn't tried Artisana's products before, so it was hard to decide which nut butter to get.  I chose this nut butter because I rarely get to eat macadamia nuts and had heard great things about this product.  The combination of the macadamias and cashews provides a unique, sweet flavor that really does taste exactly like those two nuts with nothing else added!  I'll be using this product (and probably many others) in my diet from now on!
