Our Body Brush is 100% natural, the unbleached bristles are made in Mexico from tampico fiber - the unbleached stem of the agave plant. The agave plant is a desert-dwelling cactus-like plant (see picture below). These fibers are harvested from the living plant, in a manner that allows the agave plant to repair itself, so no permanent damage is sustained by the agave plant. This makes it a 100% renewable source, with no waste.
