     This bar was named because we used organic coconut sugar as the sweetener. There is not a strong coconut flavor to this bar, it is a very rich balanced chocolate flavor throughout. The texture is special because of the coconut crystals still intact.

     Every ingredient we include is an organic superfood, held to the highest quality standards and hand selected by our company.  Our Chocolate bars contain absolutely NO milk, dairy ingredients or animal byproducts of any kind.  Each batch is hand-crafted when you order in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  We maintain the highest quality standards for our customers.

Our coconut sugar is produced from the sweet nectar of Indonesian island coconut palms from. Local farmers tap the palm flower spikes to release a treasured juice. Kettle-boiled over an open hearth fire, the nectar slowly thickens into a golden sugar unlike any other. Subtly sweet with an almost haunting aroma of smoke and caramel, Coconut Palm Sugar is nothing short of artisinal perfection.

Texture: Smooth chocolate plus our organic Coconut Sugar crystals give this bar a very unique texture with just a little crunch.

During Spring and Summer, higher temperatures during shipping will melt our chocolate bars because organic cacao butter has a low melting point. Please refer to the map below and the "Transit Days" key to the right of the map. If your shipping address is located in the areas of "2 Days", "3 Days", "4 Days", or "5 Days", * please choose "UPS Next Day Air" from the drop down menu.  Because of the increase in shipping costs we strongly suggest you place separate orders for chocolate bars and other merchandise.

Lovely, unique chocolate bar April 20, 2010

This chocolate bar was really tasty.  Nice, subtle coconut flavor throughout and perfect crunch.  The chocolate, itself, is delicious and this 1 oz size is perfect as a snack or dessert in that it gives you a nice feeling of being full and satisfied.  I haven't felt this kind of balance from any other chocolate brand I've had before, and I can say that for all of Love Street's chocolate products!
