100% raw and organic with fair trade growing and harvesting procedures.  Lucuma Powder begins with the harvesting of fresh organic Lucuma fruits during peak season.  Next, the seeds are removed and the flesh is removed from the skin.  The flesh is then sliced and placed in a low-temperature sun drier.  To make the powder, the dried lucuma slices are placed in a low-temp grinder and processed until the ideal fineness is achieved.
