Clay has a long, worldwide history of outstanding, health-promoting effects and has been used extensively by many cultures for thousands of years. Medi-Clay is a quantum-state, rare desert clay (calcium bentonite) with excellent, proven detoxifying properties. It has been obtained from a deep sub-surface mine in the southwestern desert area of the U.S. which has been uniquely protected from leaching and being oxidized by the climate.
 
For over 43 million years, this clay deposit has been sealed away from the ravages of natural elements by a crust of zeolite minerals. Because its excellent absorptive properties have not been compromised by air or groundwater contaminants, this highly charged, 100% pure calcium bentonite clay has significant drawing power that has proven to be unsurpassed. Medi-Clay’s extremely strong absorptive  properties make it ideal for use in deep cleansing of internal waste products, as well as effective total body detoxification. The pH of Medi-Clay is 9.7 (highly alkaline), and thus it acts as an alkalizing agent in the body. The body’s pH level plays a critical role in its ability to help the body remain healthy and resist attack. Tissues in the body that are poorly oxygenated, or devoid of oxygen, are acidic and prone to immune compromise. In contrast, healthy tissues are always alkaline; compromised tissues are always acid. Blood, lymph, and cerebral spinal fluid in the human body are all designed to be alkaline when in a healthy state. Since most health concerns begin to occur as the body’s pH falls into the acid range, it is essential to alkalize the body (as indicated by a first-morning urine pH between 6.4 to 7.0) and to keep it alkaline on a regular, ongoing basis.
 
Note: The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. Below 7 is acid, and above 7 is alkaline.

Recommended Use:
Internal Use:
Take ½ tsp. of the Clay Hydrate and mix in 8 oz. water once daily. (See directions below to make the Clay Hydrate.)

Clay Hydrate:
Mix 1 Tbsp. of dry clay powder for every 10 Tbsp. of water. (To do this simply, fill any glass container with 9/10 of water, then add 1/10th clay powder and stir thoroughly.) Be sure to cap the container tightly. After setting all night, the Clay Hydrate should have a thick, creamy texture and is ready for use. The Clay Hydrate will keep indefinitely until used.
