Our Premium Maca Powder has undergone a special process which helps maintain the active principles in the finished raw material. This maca is not sun-dried, so processing starts directly after harvesting the bulbs from the earth. Scientific studies have shown that premium maca has a higher concentration of some active principles like glucosinolates and that Premium Maca Powder has a higher energizing effect that standard maca powder. After harvesting - a normal decomposition process starts, the sun-drying process leads to deterioration of some of the active principles, which is the primary reason for eliminating this step.

Note: Premium Maca Powder has a lighter color than standard maca powder.
