Quality: Maca Powder is 100% organic with fair trade growing and harvesting procedures.  The red maca has a very subtle red color.  There are 3 colors of maca: red, black and yellow but the color is only on the skin and the inside of all 3 is white.  The skin is very thin so when the whole root is crushed into a powder, the color is greatly diluted.  Red Maca Powder is produced from red and purple maca bulbs.
